Happy Birthday Lester Dent! Best known for his Doc Savage stories, Dent is the author of about 200 books (yes, 200!!). You can find many of his pulpy adventure stories here, all of which were written with his master formula, “No yarn of mine written to the formula has yet failed to sell.”
He was also an explorer: gold miner, pilot, ship captain, adventurer, until his final days. (1904-1959). Happy Birthday!
